I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate with experience offering outpatient counseling services. I am from Arkansas and attended Arkansas Tech University for my undergraduate education. I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After a short break from school, I moved to New Orleans, Louisiana to begin my master’s program. I graduated from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where I earned my master’s degree in counseling with a focus on clinical mental health counseling. I am trained in therapy models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Story Informed Trauma Therapy (SITT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and have had the opportunity to work with clients on a variety of presenting problems.
I enjoy the process of therapy and walking with clients through past experiences and present issues. My desire for each of my clients is to work together to help you face challenges in your daily life, process past hurts, and come to a place of healing so that you can live a more abundant life. Together, I want to help create a safe place for you to heal and grow using approaches best suited to you, your life, and your goals.
